How the company operates.
Atrio Sciences treats regulatory boundaries as a design constraint from the first product decision. The practices below apply to the catalogue, to ordering and to dispatch.
Regulatory frame.
Every material is supplied as a research-use-only laboratory reference material for in-vitro research and analytical use. This is a regulatory frame, not a marketing label: materials are not represented, packaged, labelled or sold as medicines, foods, supplements, cosmetics or medical devices.
The company operates within the ordinary EU regulatory perimeter of an EU-domiciled seller of laboratory reference chemicals to EU customers.
- EU consumer-protection law
- Distance-selling information duties, withdrawal rights and fair-commercial-practice rules.
- National medicines legislation
- The boundary the research-use frame is built to respect: no representation, claim or use that would bring a material within medicinal-product regulation.
- REACH and CLP
- Classification, labelling and packaging, and safety data sheets, where applicable.
- GDPR
- Atrio Sciences is controller of customer data.
A material does not reach the catalogue by default.
- 1
Legal-status screen
Per-market check against national medicines and controlled-substance status before any listing work begins.
- 2
Exclusion check
The material is tested against the standing exclusions. Any match ends the review.
- 3
Supplier qualification
Manufacturer identity and documentation are confirmed before an order is placed.
- 4
Batch analysis
The first batch is held in quarantine and is released for sale only once its analytical certificate passes.
Standing exclusions.
If the legal status of a material changes in any destination served, the company’s documented service level is removal or restriction within 72 hours of confirmation.
- No approved or branded human medicines
- Materials are supplied as laboratory reference materials, never as finished medicinal products.
- No prescription or controlled substances
- In any market served.
- No human-use claims, doses or protocols
- No dosing guidance and no therapeutic positioning, anywhere.
- No consumer-health positioning
- Not presented for wellness or personal use.
- No unrestricted destinations
- Eligibility is set per material and per country; destination and sanctions screening precedes every dispatch.
- No opaque ownership
- One legal entity, one beneficial owner, publicly identified.
Ordering and dispatch.
- Research-use statement
- Present on every material page and label, and as a site-wide notice.
- Logged research-use declaration
- Declaration at order with timestamp and order reference retained.
- Age and purpose confirmation
- Purchasers separately confirm age of majority and a professional or research purpose.
- Destination and sanctions screening
- Applied before the dispatch of every order, on top of per-material, per-country eligibility.
- Tracked fulfilment
- Orders are tracked end to end through the logistics provider and proof of delivery is retained.
Quality assurance.
Material quality is verified independently of Atrio Sciences, not self-certified. Each batch is intended to be tested by an independent EU analytical laboratory before release, and the analytical certificate made available for the batch supplied.
A batch is held in quarantine from receipt until its certificate passes; nothing in quarantine is available for sale. A failed batch is removed from saleable stock. Every unit is labelled with the research-use statement, a batch identifier and storage conditions.
Suppliers are qualified before the first order, and the company maintains alternative sources for each material.
Ownership, records and accuracy.
- Accurate representation
- The company describes its activities and status as they are. Statements about legal status, testing, certification or partnerships must be capable of documentary verification.
- Transparent ownership
- One entity, one beneficial owner, publicly identified. Corporate documentation is available to counterparties and authorities on request.
- Record retention
- Corporate, supplier, product, order and compliance records are retained for the periods required by law and for audit.
